Wild Violet Nori Roll

My part of the Wild Violet assignment was to
demonstrate a recipe.
so here is my demonstration, I was very nervous!

Here are some more fun and tasty recipes:

We found this information in a book we have
The Essential Wild Food Survival Guide
by Linda Runyon

Amount of nutrient per 100 g.
(about ½ cup) calories: 16

Water 94.8g
Calcium 47mg
Protein 1.4g
Phosphate 86mg
Fat 0.3g
Iron 1mg
Carb 2.7g
Sodium 18mg
Fiber 0.6g
Ascorbic. 18mg
Ash 0.8g
Riboflavin 110µg
Carotene 400µg
Niacin 600µg
Thiamin 20µg
Potassium 116mg

The violet leaves are packed with vitamin A & C

Hope you will try a recipe, if nothing else throw some violet leaves in a salad and
enjoy! But before you do make sure you can identify a violet leaf from other plants,
if violets are new to you it is best to have an experience person who know how to identify
wild edibles to show you one.

Enjoy!!
