1 c raw sugar, I like to use sucanat or maple sugar.
1/2c melted butter
3 eggs
1 1/3c flour
2tsp baking powder
1tsp vanilla extract
1c nuts finely chopped (optional, my dad is not a fan of nuts so I often omit, very good without)
1 1/2c chocolate chips
dash of salt
~Combine butter w/sugar and stir
~Beat in eggs, one at a time
~Fold in flour, B. powder and salt
~Add vanilla nuts and chips, and mix
~Pour into greased 9x13 pan
~Bake at 325* for 25 minutes
~Cool and cut into squares
*Pull out sooner than later

Hailey~ we made them tonight... and well.... yours tasted better. That happens alot. Seems like when getting a recipe from someone else the recipe just doesn't taste the same as when the other person baked it :-b
ReplyDeleteI'm sure as we bake them we'll develope our own flare for baking them.
Blessings!!
