A Lesson on Modesty

This was one of my assignments for my Bat Mitzvah curriculum this year.  I had to write or make a
poster about modesty.  I posted it here since Ms. Pamela had posted a video about modesty last week.
Just click the pic to enlarge it enough to read it.  I hope you enjoy it :-)

3/4C Pecans,chopped

Crust
1 1/4C Flour
1 1/4C Cold Butter

Cut flour into butter until crumbly. Press into pie pan. keep in fridge or freezer until ready to bake.

Note: I like to use a food processor to cut in butter, but a pastry cutter or forks will do nicely.

Modesty Video Teaching

We thought this was a wonderful video teaching in the the topic of modesty and why it is important. Modesty is a value we all share here at Torah Keeping Maidens. As young women, we are learning to keep our hearts, bodies and mind pure for YHVH and our future husband. It is a way to honor our fathers, and brother and sister and mothers. It is a way to help remind us and other that we are set a apart forthe work of The King. Modesty is so much more than how we dress. However, how we dress is a very important piece to the combination of the things which make up the big picture of 'modesty'. It is an expression precious expression of worship and submission and of being set apart for YHVH.

In Him,

In the future we hope to express more encouragment on this topic of feminity and modesty.

Blessings to all you young Maidens of the King!
